For the Inner Corona, I used a 1000mm lens at F-11 (a C-5), 1/125th of a second shutter speed on ASA 100 film. This set-up captured the dramatic activity of the two major prominences and the subtle lacey inner corona. At the first moment of totality, the western edge showed what looked like an arc welders glow in the shape of a lazy "S". The entire corona seemed to pulsate and ungulate it was dynamic!
