Mono Lake Triptych |
Mono Lake Triptych (three piece compositions) is a panorama shot taken with a wide angle lens and three separate exposures creating an unusual view of a very unique lake. The formations are caused by minerals in the lake. Mono Lake is east of Yosemite National Park in California. The lake is slowly being drained due to the lowering of the water table which is being caused by the demand for water in southern California. While the photo series was taken as three separate shots, the images seen here are arranged on a single mounting. |
